A Play Based Preschool Focused on Child-Led Learning
ABOUT MS. KELCEY

In addition to completing my Masters in Elementary Education, and obtaining my current VA teaching license, I have over 20 years of experience working with young children in multiple settings. I have taught and substituted in public schools, and acted as lead counselor in a youth summer camp program. I was manager for an events childcare company in San Francisco, overseeing staff and creating curriculum as well as providing care. In college, I was a long term nanny for a number of families. I also grew up in a childcare setting, for as long as I can remember I have been surrounded by children. I am currently CPR and First Aid Trained, as well as MAT certified which allows me to safely care for children with certain medical needs and allergies.
I am also the mother of three wonderful children, which gives me insight to the challenges we parents face in raising our children in today's changing environment. My passion for teaching children, and combined experiences allow me to provide a warm, safe and differentiated environment for your child to thrive. I look forward to helping each child explore their unique style of learning through self discovery and creative play.

ABOUT MS. DAWN
I have two great girls at home. Previously I regularly babysat for two families for two years prior to joining Little Wonders. I am a George Mason graduate , am current with my CPR certification. I thoroughly enjoy participating in the mandatory 16 hours of annual training offered through Loudoun County's Division of Child Care and Early Childhood Development. I have found these classes invaluable in my work at Little Wonders. Additionally, I have many volunteer hours in my girls' school, Arcola Elementary.
Working at Little Wonders has been such a joy for me. How fortunate I feel in looking forward to going to work and enjoying each day. Developing relationships with each child and becoming familiar with each personality and unique learning style has been absolutely rewarding for me.
